fun Halloween night

What a fun night Christy and i got all dressed up and hit the town runnin. We started out at a bar downtown that was having a Halloween party but it just was to weird, we were probably the youngest ones there. We stayed there a couple hours and then went to a bar for the younger crowd. It was hella fun, some really cool costumes and of course the good ole bar drama with fights and the whole nine yards. Some of the people i work with were there and some people Christy knows were there too so it was all good. Good band that actually played rock music that we knew. It was so nice to just have an evening out with my lovely wife. Even though we closed the bar at 2am it was fun. Here a re a couple pics of us all dressed to kill LOL.

what a day LOL

Well the day started of with me being supervisor then while i was home on lunch my boss called me and said "go ahead and take the rest of the day off" woohoo time away from work (thats why it's a 4 letter word LOL. So i played my drums for a little while then decided to play with my camera a bit. they are fairly cheesy pics but pics none the less.

Good Week

This week has been good wife and i spent an afternoon just walking around downtown and went and got lunch which doesnt happen very often just the two of us. On the 28th we are going to a play and im trying to talk her into making a night of it and getting a hotel in seattle for the night for a little getaway for the two of us. :) Well it the halloween season so i painted our windows of the house ill post pics soon of some of the halloween stuff i did soon.

Depressed again

Well im not a happy camper i got the phone call from the postmaster i interviewed with and i didnt get the supervisor position. I really felt good about it but like i said beore you never know whats gonna happen. Oh well i guess. :(

Interview

I had an interview today for a supervisor position at the Anacortes WA post office. It seemed like it went really well I got a vibe that the postmaster was really impressed with me. Im confident that i have a really good chance at this position yet you never know what lifes gonna bring you. It is a little bit of a commute from home but i do believe it will be worth it. I will find out tuesday either way if i got it or not. So the results to follow so cross your fingers for me LOL

Frustrated

Well I've been a little frustrated and depressed. My vacation hasn't gone as i had hoped, first Christy and i were going to go to Vegas for a few days and that didn't pan out, then we were going to go Canada for a night or two and that didn't pan out either. My B-Day was yesterday, yes i had a wonderful dinner with Christy just the two of us and that was wonderful, yet she had a meeting for her H.S. reunion and didn't get home till late. I wish i could have spent it with her but i am happy that i have my health and my family. I know no one wants to listen to my whining. Ive had one nice day weather wise to actually work in the yard while im on vacation i sure hope it gets better. i have a little over a week left on vacation. then it can be as nasty outside as it wants to be LOL

Artwork

We have a new art store in town and i was like yes i can get into my art again and try different mediums. I'm looking at getting into glass art, but i think i want to get into screen printing first i think that will be sooooooo cool and a really good way to put my art out there for people to see. Maybe I'm nuts and i probably am but i would love have people see my art which is actually drawings instead of some of these artists around here that splatter paint and call it art. To me thats not art its just a mess to me LOL

kinda depressed

Well i had applied for a postmaster position and a supervisor position within the post office. Kinda depressed that i didn't get either one, i guess everything happens for a reason but sometimes i begin to think I'm destined to just stay a letter carrier and that's not what i want. Oh well i guess that means just have to hope that other postions will come open. I guess i should still be happy that i have a good paying job as a letter carrier and that i enjoy it still after 4 yrs.

Bored

Well im sitting here at work playing supervisor today and got bored so thought id do a post how fun huh? LOL I started at 7am and will be here till about 5:30pm fun fun

Sorry no pic yesterday I spent all day yesterday at my wife's store helping them. I might not get one today either because I will be at the store today today too. So ill have to take a few tomorrow probably to catch up.

senseless ramblings

Well as i said earlier today im on vacation for a week, the weather really sucks right now so cant go outside. Wifes store got broken into so she has to spend the week at the store maybe i'm selfish but wish she could spend more time at home, but yet i know it has to be taken care of i know that makes me selfish. But on the good side at least she wil be home during the evenings to sit and watch movies or just hang out and watch tv.

New Toy

Well i bought myself a digital camera now so maybe i can play around with it LOL. I'm no professional by any means so ill practice before i post anything on here. Other than that not alot of new news I'm on vacation for a week and of course is raining so just hanging out inside =(. I was wondering if anyone even reads this silly thing. Come on people if youre reading my ramblings please leave me a comment or something LOL. I even put a counter on here to see if anyone besides me is reading this LOL

Back in Black

Well after reading my wifes blog i changed my hair back to its natural black. I never realized she didnt like it she never said anything about it. Well im back to somewhat normal anyway LOL. Ill get a pic of it on here soon that is if i cant get the camera away from my wife LOL.

BBQ night with my honey

A nice evening at the wiles fire pit. Yes i dont look enthused but hey with a few drinks and a fire to stare at, what can i say. But it was so nice to just sit and relax with my honey next to the fire. Wink Wink.

Woohoo this is the addicting game guitar hero. I've spent many an hour playing this game, I lose track of time very easy when i play it. LOL

Picture a day keeps everyone away

I thought about doing what my wife is doing with the picture a day project, but then i thought of a few reasons not to do it.
1. I don't think i look good in pictures.
2. Id never get the camera away from Christy.
3. If anyone even looks at this blog then saw pics they would run far far away.

I couldnt think of a really good reason to do it LOL. So if anyone can think of a REALLY good reason im open to it LOL

first timer

Well im a first timer to this so watch out lol. Well believe it or not ive found a video game im addicted to more than anything NASCAR. Borrowed Guitar hero II from guy at work and the first day i borrowed it i played for 11 hours solid, didnt even eat.(thats addicting) Its. a definate buy item now. My three kids just love it, took it over to some friends of ours the other night and we all played for a few hours that is the guys did while the women talked. I hope to get some pics up on here but gotta figure this whole blog thing out first so bear with me
